Anaya
Leadership and teacher-coaching trainer · Founder, Leaders n Teachers
Confident classrooms begin with confident leaders.
I train the school owners, principals, coordinators and teacher coaches who grow great teachers. When the adults who lead a school are supported, the whole school feels it, all the way down to the youngest child.

What I believe
A school is only as steady as the adults who lead it
Most of what goes wrong in a classroom (rushed days, tired teachers, children who cannot settle) is not a teacher problem. It is a support problem.
Teachers are told what to do far more often than they are shown how. Coordinators are promoted for being good teachers, and then asked to lead adults with no training in how to observe, give feedback or coach. Founders carry the culture of the school in their heads, and it never quite reaches the staff room.
So I start with the leaders. When the people at the top know how to set priorities, coach their teachers and talk to them well, the change travels down the school.
Who I train
The people who develop teachers
School owners and founders
Building the team, the culture and the systems a school runs on, whether you are opening a school or growing one.
Principals and heads
Leading the day, making decisions, setting priorities and keeping a school calm and focused.
Coordinators and teacher coaches
Observing a class, giving feedback teachers can use, and coaching them to grow instead of only checking their work.
Mentor teachers
Guiding new teachers through their first year, and passing on what works in the classroom.
Whole staff teams
In-school workshops on communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence and behaviour management.
Parents
Orientation sessions that help families understand how the school teaches, and how to help at home.
How I can help
Support in the shape your school needs
No two schools are the same, so the work comes in different sizes: one talk, one day, a term, or a plan built from scratch.
Talks for leaders and staff
Practical talks for a staff meeting, an annual day for teachers, or a group of school leaders. People leave with ideas they can use the next morning.
Ask about a talk →In-school workshops
Hands-on sessions for your leaders or your whole staff, on one programme. Practice, role-play and real cases from your school, not slides.
See teacher training →Leadership and coaching programme
For principals, coordinators and coaches over a term: workshops, practice between sessions, and check-ins to keep the change going.
See the programme →Classroom observation and feedback
I observe classes in your school, then give each teacher and their coordinator clear, kind feedback and next steps.
See observation and feedback →Parent orientation
A session for parents at the start of the year, so families and teachers pull in the same direction.
See parent orientation →Free resources
Free worksheets and planners for teachers, and a monthly letter by post for the person behind the profession.

Is this for you?
This is for you if…
- you lead a school and want your coordinators to coach, not only check;
- your teachers work hard, but the school day still feels rushed and reactive;
- good teachers leave, and you want to know why;
- you are opening a school and want the team, culture and systems right from day one;
- staff meetings and parent conversations take more out of you than they should;
- you want training that people practise in the room, not slides they forget.
What you can expect
After working together
- Leaders who know what to look for in a classroom, and how to talk about it;
- teachers who get feedback they can use the next day;
- clear priorities, so the school day feels calmer;
- a staff room that works as one team;
- a plan for what to keep doing after I leave.
Hi, I'm Anaya
I began in schools. For 15 years, from 2005 to 2020, I was an academic leader, trainer and curriculum developer with Chrysalis, Vibgyor and Queen's College in Bengaluru. I planned what children learn, led departments and teams, and built a group of in-house trainers through mentoring and train-the-trainer programmes. My own training in academic leadership was at Eklavya School, Ahmedabad.
I then moved into corporate learning and development. At Tata Consultancy Services I trained engineering teams and leaders in communication. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise I led onboarding and new-hire training for more than 500 engineers and leads across Asia-Pacific. Since 2023 I have worked independently, designing and delivering programmes for Toyota Financial Services, Uber, Coats, Veoneer, Infollion, Christ (Deemed to be University) and Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College. I have led leadership training and curriculum design for Sri Aurobindo Academy, Pondicherry, and leadership workshops at IIT Delhi. In all, I have trained more than 5,000 professionals and leaders.
Now I am bringing the two worlds together. Schools ask a great deal of their leaders and coordinators, and give them very little training for it. Companies spend years learning how to develop people. Leaders n Teachers brings that learning into schools: a curriculum for schools, resources for teachers, and training for the people who lead them.
My focus: leadership, coaching, communication, emotional intelligence, team building and behaviour management.

Before you ask
Do you come to our school, or is it online?
Both. Workshops, observation and coaching can be in your school or online. The free masterclass is online.
Where do you work?
I am based in Bengaluru and work with schools across India. Online sessions work anywhere.
How many people can join?
Leadership programmes work best with small groups, so everyone gets to practise. Staff workshops can include the whole team. We plan this on the discovery call.
Do we need to use your curriculum?
No. Any school can take training, with or without the Leaders n Teachers curriculum.
Can it be built around our school's needs?
Yes. Every programme is adjusted to your school, and we can build one from scratch.
How do we know it worked?
We agree what success looks like before we start. Short checks before and after the training show what changed.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the group and the location. We share a clear fee after the discovery call, before anything is booked.
How do we book?
Message me on WhatsApp for a free discovery call, or book a planning call for ₹499, which is adjusted against the final fee.
