The thought behind it

The curriculum is child-centred and built on the ASK model: Attitude, Skills and Knowledge. Language, Math and the themes build Knowledge. Motor skills, stories and art build Skills. Life skills, conversation time and the home period build Attitude. Each year builds on the one before, so a child who starts in Nursery is ready for Grade 1 after UKG. Put simply, every lesson has something for the head (knowledge), the heart (attitude) and the hand (skills).

How it is put together

We start with the year: the annual calendar for each grade. The year is broken into months, the months into weeks, and each week into daily lessons. Every lesson has its worksheet or activity. A teacher can open any week and know what to teach, how to teach it and what to keep ready.
